Five steps to your first bar
Install & activate the plugin
In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the Lifetime Sticky Bar ZIP, then click Install Now and Activate. A new Sticky Bars menu appears in the left sidebar.
Prefer the directory? The free version is also on WordPress.org, search “Lifetime Sticky Bar”.
Choose a starting point
Open Sticky Bars → Create New. Pick a ready-made design from the Template Library, or start from scratch with a blank bar. Choose one of the five bar types, Announcement, Countdown, Coupon, Lead capture, or Shipping.
Customize in the editor
The visual editor updates a live preview in real time. The left sidebar groups every setting into collapsible sections:
- Content, message text, CTA button, coupon code or lead fields
- Design, position, colors, fonts, button style, height
- Targeting, trigger, frequency, page rules, schedule, device
Publish or save as draft
Click Publish to make the bar live immediately, or Save as Draft to keep editing later. Your work auto-saves as you go, so you never lose changes. You can preview a draft on your real site before showing it to visitors.
Monitor & optimize
Head to the Dashboard to see views, clicks and conversions for every bar, with a chart over 7, 14 or 30 days. Duplicate a winner, tweak the copy, and keep what converts.
Top, bottom, left, right and floating each hold one active bar at a time. When you activate a new bar, any other active bar in the same position with overlapping page rules is deactivated automatically, so bars never stack on top of each other.
